Dark natural caves and flooded tunnels, a break from all the man-made floors but no safer for it. Female Deathmoths nest by the mushrooms and a pair of Skin-Stealers hunt with flashlights of their own. There's no code, only nerve.
How to escape Cave System
Grab the flashlight and walkie-talkies at spawn, then turn the valve in the transporter to release bug spray and open the door. From there it's all navigation: crouch past the Female Deathmoths, track the Skin-Stealers by their flashlight beams, and cross the rotten bridge by walking, never running, one person at a time. Climb the ladder at the final pit to leave.
Clear it and you move on to Level 0.11.
What trips people up on Cave System
- ▸Turn the valve in the transporter to release bug spray and open the door before you push deeper. You need the spray for the Female Deathmoths nesting by the mushrooms.
- ▸Crouch and move slow past the Female Deathmoths instead of running. Speed is what triggers the swarm.
- ▸Two Skin-Stealers hunt here with flashlights of their own. Track them by their beams and do not trust a light that behaves like a teammate.
- ▸Cross the rotten bridge by walking, never running, and one person at a time. Rushing it collapses the boards under you.
Entities on this level
Giant moths that infest the hotel and the caves. The males are docile and drop jelly you need; the big females are aggressive and will swarm you in the dark.
Survive: Use bug spray to clear a path and to farm jelly from the males. Crouch and move slow past the females, and in the boiler room read the wall thermometers to tell where a hive is before you walk into it.
A pale, faceless thing that copies other survivors to get close. In co-op it'll wear a teammate's face and voice, so the real danger is trusting the wrong 'friend'.
Survive: Go by how it acts, not how it looks. A Skin-Stealer moves wrong, repeats voice lines, and won't do the stuff a real player does. Keep everyone in sight, call your positions out loud, and don't follow a 'teammate' who's leading you off alone.
