A place built like a school, starting in a classroom of pillars and cluttered desks that opens into long hallways. A friendly Partypooper will walk you out, if you follow his lead.
How to escape Level 52
Find the Partypooper and follow him to the exit. When he crouches, you crouch, because that means a Partygoer is close. Trail him to the exit and up the stairs. There's an optional Hub Door on the right side of the starting classroom if you want to detour back to The Hub.
Clear it and you move on to Level 55.1.
What trips people up on Level 52
- ▸The Partypooper is a guide, not a threat. Follow him and he walks you to the exit, so the real mistake here is losing him.
- ▸When he crouches, you crouch. That is the tell that a Partygoer is near, and staying on your feet gets you caught.
- ▸Do not rush ahead of him or wander off to explore. The whole level is paced around following his lead up the stairs.
- ▸The Hub Door on the right side of the starting classroom is an optional detour back to The Hub, not the way out.
Entities on this level
The one helper in the whole game. A lone party-hatted figure in the school-like Level 52 who, instead of hunting you, walks ahead and leads the way to the exit.
Survive: Follow him and copy him. Trail the Partypooper toward the stairs, and the moment he crouches, you crouch too, because that means a Partygoer is close. He's a guide, not a threat, so the only way to lose is to wander off on your own.
The grinning, party-hatted residents of the Fun levels. They come in numbers and corner anyone who wanders in careless, lost somewhere among the streamers and confetti.
Survive: Keep moving and keep your distance. Never let them box you into a dead-end room. Learn the route before you commit, and don't backtrack into a crowd of them. Crouch and stay quiet when one is near.
