The famous Poolrooms. Bright white and tan tiles, shallow turquoise water, sunlight from nowhere. After the funhouse it feels like a held breath, and it fully restores your sanity. The catch is which rooms you're allowed to walk into.
How to escape The Poolrooms
Wind through the room sequence toward the red-lit hallway at the far end. The danger is specific: a few dark-tile rooms blast a heavy VHS distortion as a warning right before they kill you, and the boiling-water rooms with the spiral staircase will cook you if you descend too far or step in. Read the warnings and keep to the bright, shallow path.
Clear it and you move on to Run For Your Life!.
What trips people up on The Poolrooms
- ▸The pretty water level still kills you. A few dark-tile rooms blast a heavy VHS distortion right before they kill, so treat that visual glitch as a get-out-now warning.
- ▸Do not descend too far down the spiral staircase or step into the boiling-water rooms. The heat cooks you if you linger.
- ▸It fully restores sanity, so there is no rush here. Read each room before you step in instead of speed-running the tiles.
- ▸Stick to the bright, shallow path toward the red-lit hallway at the far end. The safe route is the obvious one.
